Premises and Room Hire
New Mills Volunteer Centre is located at 33/35 Union Road in New Mills.
The building is open from Monday to Friday during the periods 10am – 4pm.
The telephone line 01663 744196 is normally manned during these hours and an answer-phone is available for messages at other times.
The ground floor has wheelchair access, a spacious toilet fitted for use by disabled people and a lift to the second and third levels. The main meeting room is at street level. It can hold up to 40 and has a loop-system for those with hearing loss.
At the rear is a kitchen fitted with an electric cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave oven and dishwasher. This overlooks a car park with space for 6 vehicles.
There is a room suitable for meetings of 8 people and has comfy chairs a board table, This room is private and suitable for one to one interviews. We also utilise this room for our Digital Skills training sessions.

For up to 40 people (theatre style) – £15 per hour
Partitioned Room
Our large meeting room divides into two for smaller groups – £8 per hour each
Small Meeting Room
Suitable for groups of 8 people – £10 per hour
Prices include use of kitchen and cloakroom facilities.
Full wheelchair access to all rooms and disabled toilets.
