Our monthly dementia friendly social session is on again. The Kinder Social group meet the last Thursday of the month at St. Georges Parish Hall in New Mills.

This is a fantastic session with live entertainment, singing and if you’re feeling energetic a bit of dancing too!

Pop along for a brew, some cake and natter.

The last Saturday in every month a fantastic team of volunteers gather at the Volunteer Centre ready and eager to repair a whole host of items.

If you’ve got something that is in need of repair bring it down and let one of the volunteers see if they can fix it.

If you think your a bit handy at making repairs why don’t you have a chat with one of the volunteers with a view to becoming one of the repair volunteers

The First Car Boot Sale of the Year! Join us on Sunday 7th April.

We are holding the sale on Swizzels new car park – entrance on Albion Road – Opposite Grove Vets. £10 per car, on the day.

Cars can arrive from 8am, sale hours 9am-12noon!

All proceeds go to helping people in our community.

We are back on Coop's Car Park with our amazing Plant Sale Extravaganza.

These plant are grown by our very own volunteer Olwen, who has nurtured these plants to sell on behalf of New Mills & District Volunteer Centre, to ensure we can continue the work with the local communities.

NMVC's Quiz Night is back on Saturday 12th October at St. George's Parish Hall. Doors open at 7:30pm for an 8pm start. Entry to the quiz is £3 per person with money raised going toward our work with the local community.

On Saturday 19th October we are running a Ceramic Hare Workshop! This workshop is £40 and includes all materials, firing and refreshments, for more info or to book drop us a message or email Lorna@nmvc.org. Places are limited so don't delay!
