A dementia-friendly social group with music, tea, cake and good company

Kinder Social Group is a friendly monthly group for people living with dementia, their families, carers, and anyone who would enjoy a welcoming afternoon with others.

Each session includes live entertainment, music, singing and time to chat over tea and cake. Some people come to sing, some come to dance, and some simply come to enjoy the company and atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome. The group is relaxed, supportive and dementia-friendly, with volunteers on hand to help people feel comfortable.

When: Last Thursday of the month, 1.45pm to 3.30pm
Where: St George’s Parish Hall, Church Lane, New Mills, SK22 4NP
Cost: £2.50 per session
Transport: Available, but limited
