Our minibus shopping trips help local people get to larger supermarkets in Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith. We pick you up from your home and bring you back afterwards.

Volunteers are there to offer friendly support, including help with shopping bags where needed. Each trip also gives people the chance to get out, have a chat, and spend time with others in the supermarket café.

Who this is for
For older people, disabled people, and anyone who may struggle to use public transport or manage a bigger shop on their own.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10.00am to 1.00pm
Where: Tesco Glossop and Morrisons Chapel-en-le-Frith, alternating each week
Cost: £5 per trip
Booking: Essential, as places are limited
